Same as the complaints I read on here; Jeep lease, truck was falling apart through out the duration of the agreement until it finally died. At which point I made the decision to make my final lease payment and return the truck to the Jeep dealership it was towed to for service. The dealership took the lease in without issue and all and final lease payments were made on time (and early) and in full. Yet, Hann sent me a bill for $1,500 for "damages" and disposition fee after the return.

Extortionist

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Billed approx. $ 1600.00 worth of damages that were . not there when they pick up the car. The dealer never notified me of the $ 450.00 return charge. My lawyer sent a letter questioning the charges and stating we had prior pictures, with no response. within two months Hann reported to the credit bureau as a write off causing our fica score to drop 103 points. I understand they do not lease any more but should still be responsible for its prior dealings and fire the ve.'ry rude lease manager

It received my notice for a court demanding $1594.47 today. I wish I knew how to start a class action suite because i'm sure there must be hundreds out there with the same problem with Hann and other leasing companys.

I'll bet if I leased another car and garage kept it for three yrs.

they would find a reason to charge. They seem like legal extortionist and I think they are.

Worst Lease Ever!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
From day one we had issues with the car. Within the first 3 months we had to replace the entire engine and drive train. At the end of the lease we were stuck with a bill for over $1800 for absolutely nothing. They refused a walkthrough on pickup and charged us for items that were ridiculous. Some condensation behind the head lights? $1000? Scratch on the license plate bracket? $100. What a terrible company.

Totally rude people

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
A Caucasian male in his forties or fifties with a black tattoo on his forearm harassed me for sitting on a picnic table while eating my bagel at 7:30 AM. He was very rude to me and represented this business terribly. I told him I felt offended by his words and he showed no compassion or concern. The man seemed to me like a horrible business person and I would avoid this place like a plague. Buyer beware. Google reviews echo this same complaint — that this business provides very poor customer service and borderline rips people off. I would not do business with these people, and I will be following up with the building manager and the senior management of the company.

HORRIFIC EXCUSE FOR HUMANS!!!

I leased a 2015 Jeep Renegade from Hudson Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Jersey City, who in turn used HANN... big mistake! Not only did the vehicle literally fall apart only a few months into my lease, the dealer claimed that there was nothing wrong with it! I had issues from "SERVICE AIRBAG" lights going on/off constantly, loud grinding noises coming from the transmission, rear differential needed to be replaced (the dealer claimed to replace, yet I found out it never was!), acceleration was non-existent, gas mileage suffered due to this, STEERING WHEEL LOCKED -WHILE I WAS DRIVING, among countless other unsafe issues! I finally asked if I could get out of this faulty car and the dealer said nope! Long story short, I ended up going all the way to Chrysler Corp. after I moved to Florida and my STEERING WHEEL LOCKED AS I WAS DRIVING!!! Still, nobody wanted to admit the blatant, documented faults of this vehicle, from the dealer, to the service dept. to Chrysler Corp. I've now moved to Florida and tried to do a lease trade in a bit early and guess what, they would not! The reasoning is that HANN FINANCIAL (my auto loan provider) has many hidden stipulations within the loan and the lease! I was not able to return the lease to anyone but direct to HANN!?!? Nobody in more than 8 local Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealers were able to touch my Renegade, all due to HANN FINANCIAL's ridiculous rules. I reached out to just about every RUDE EMPLOYEE of HANN FINANCIAL during this process and NOBODY CARED!!! I could have died the day that my steering locked up while driving, but all HANN FINANCIAL wanted was my hard earned MONEY!!! I truly wish that each rude person I spoke to at HANN has equal to or a worse experience with something like this in the near future! Perhaps if it were their mother's car or son/daughter's car, or carried their new born baby in this car...they'd have a different feeling about it! Being that I was clearly no longer safe in this vehicle, I ultimately had to drive that piece of *** back up to the dealer in NJ to have them return it to HANN FINANCIAL directly. What a nightmare, from start to finish, this whole ordeal has been! Oh, by the way, I'm still paying for it too because despite the laundry list of faulty equipment, loss of gas mileage and non-functioning pieces on this car, HANN had the audacity to still charge me a $450 disposition fee, along with falsely charging for over mileage. Legal representation is in the works, against the dealer and HANN FINANCIAL!!!

Stay away from them

I’ve tried to contact them but the men I spoke to were rude and arrogant. It seems they were reading a script. Unwilling to listen to me. Am glad I’m no longer in a lease from them. I returned a car with 14000 miles on it in mint condition and feel I shouldn’t have to pay disposition fee.

Awful

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Leased vehicle and returned early with 15000 miles on it. Printed out statement that stated lease closed no balance due. Called them and found them rude and awful employees. I am willing to pay remaining payments but a car with that mileage is probably sold by them already and I shouldn’t have to pay disposition fee. When they talk to you it seems they are reading from a script. Plus they don’t allow transfer of plates which you have to pay for new plates. Don’t ever get a Hann lease.

The worst company to deal with for car leases

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
A bunch of thieves! Absolutely disgraceful customer treatment. I wonder how their appraisal lease return specialists can actually put their heads on a pillow at night. They can suck it if they think they are getting one penny from me other than disposition fee. Garbage company, no wonder they don't do leases anymore.

Great Company!!!!

I too was reading reviews online for 3 years while leasing through Hann Financial. I was dreading the day of return. I was bracing myself for an {{Redacted}}!! I had a professional appraisal down by a liscense appraiser. The car was pristine with 20k miles. They picked up and to my surprise, NO CHARGES. GREAT COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. thank you Hann!!

No end of lease inspection, ridiculous damage charges!

I knew I was in for trouble with these guys when they said they do not do a pre-inspection of the vehicle like normal company's do. I had the car professionally gone over and detailed at a body shop. Of course, the bill comes and they are charging a ridiculous amount for a repair on a bumper. After 39 months I guess they feel they are entitled to have a showroom condition car come back. So much for wear and tear. I have requested a photo of the damage since my pics do not reflect this. I called and they did take a little bit off but not enough to make me a content customer. Definitely ripped off and could only imagine the bill had I not spent 500 on the detail. Why my chrysler dealer would do business with such a company is behind me, and I have now told them that. Got me for tires because I had 2/2 even though they were perfect. The damage estimate is worse then the highest price body shop not like other lease company's charge for repairs- wholesale. I understand Hann is now out of the lease department. Thank goodness for that.

Highly recommend NEVER leasing a car through Hann Financial Services.

Simply, they will find a way to rip you off at the end of the lease! I just turned in a 2015 Honda CR-V which I was leasing for 3 years. The car had 26,000 miles, well below the mileage limit. The car was overall in good condition inside and out, with no scratches. BUT, it did have a small dent about 2 inches in diameter on the side driver's door. Before returning my lease, I took the car to a car detail shop to see how much it would cost to repair, and they quoted me between $200 - $250. They said it was a simple job since the paint was not penetrated and there were no scratches. I decided, however, not to have it done, because after reading Hanns's website on terms and conditions when returning a leased car, a dent that size with no paint damage was considered still within the scope of normal wear and tear. So I figured why spend the extra $250 or so. Well, a few weeks after returning the leased car I got their bill: $1,014.71!! I asked for photo proof of this damage, but of course they could not provide any. They did say I have the right to obtain my own appraisal from my own licensed appraiser, but - in their own words - "Hann is not required to accept a third party appraisal". In other words, I would assume the cost of paying for another appraisal, which they will likely not accept anyway. Between my wife and me, we've leased about 8 or 9 vehicles over the past 15 years and have never encountered something like this. Of course, there's always a first time, and Hann's you've just proven to be unethical and crooked as they come.

If you hear HANN... just RUNNNN...

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
If your dealer somehow says that you're going to finance/lease your car from HANN, no second thought... just runaway. Yes, this company is that BAD! HANN will not tell you anything until the lease is over. Rather they'll say some nice words how good they are. As soon as you send your car, they now have a different face. They know you'll not be able to take the car back and they take the full advantage of the situation. They will charge you disposition fees which is same money as they says 'damage waiver'. So you're responsible for every single thing happened to your car in last 3 years. Just be aware and lease or finance from the car company or any reputed farm. HANN is a big scam.

Horrible experience

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I returned my lease with (8) payments left. The new dealership paid the balance of the payments. I then leased a new vehicle. Hann Financial then charged me a disposition fee that I was unaware of. Would not have had an issue paying it if it was in my lease agreement. Hann Financial sent my account to collections without notifying me that I owed a fee. I called Hann Financial and the customer service rep refused to discuss the account with me. He referred me to the collection agency and to me to deal with them. I asked him why was I not notified and he stated that they attempted to notify me regarding the fee. Not true. I never received a letter from Hann Financial in the male or certified letter regarding this fee. I paid all of my monthly lease payments on time and never missed a payment. They had the nerve to send it to collections and ruined my credit. Why would I risk ruining my credit over a fee when I made every single monthly payment on time? Doesn't make sense at all. I'm currently in the process of taking legal action against them.

Avoid Hann Financial

This year, I tried to return my car to the Honda dealership I purchased from to then purchase a new car, as I have with all my previous cars (with no hassles). But the dealership expressed concerns about Hann Financial charges and told me to deal with them directly. I did, and they far overcharged me for the slightest issues with the car. Customer service was rude and after reading many other reviews and some stories of credit records being affected by disputing the fees, I paid in full. Their disposition fee is also higher then all other financing companies I've dealt with. I would suggest avoiding this financing company at all costs.

HANN Financial is a fraud

These guys put some grease and scratches on my rear bumper and tried to say it was done by me, however, upon examining the images from when the transporter picked up my vehicle, there was no damange what so ever. This is a standard practice at HANN so fight to the end if they try to *** over! Manager tried to convince me that it wasn't their fault, and somehow that damage is on the pictures when transporter picked up my Accord. Tried to tell me he had high resolution pictures but never did when I asked him to produce them. Fraud all the way

I am writing this to save you a horrible headache from this scam leasing company! Do not use them for any financial reason because they unfairly get you at the end of the lease.

They will send you a big bill that is impossible to prove in your favor at the end of the auto turn in.

They gave no end term auto inspection because they make money that way! Avoid them!!!

Ugh stay away!!! They are the worst.

The brain trust of dept head, Tom Dunleavy and James White in "remarketing" at Hann Financial are the most unprofessional and unintelligent I've dealt with. Charging thousands in false damage assessments after turning in lease. stay away!!

I was warned and didn't listen 4 years ago when Leasing our car...believe the reviews you see out there on the internet. They are that bad.

This company is a disgrace..they came after me over 10 years after a lease return for bogus car damage and return fee..they had a sleeze ball lawyer slap me with a judgement. I'm angry as can be.

Any real lawyers interested in a class action suit? scratches on a car does not equate to damage..what happened to normal wear and tear?
